Cella’s form is composed of many modular parts, and—just as a living organism—opens and closes, breathing and porous always to the environment around her.

Interior detail: All 32 of her steel legs are easily removed and attached from the center circle. The handle attaches to petals by fishing line, which loop from the ceiling 18 feet above, which can be lifted by pulling down like a large marionette.
