The Politics of Softness 2024 explores the necessity of softness for creativity and freedom. During a desert residency, I reflected on how plants and animals protect and reproduce themselves, inspiring writings that became a translucent zine. The work questions who has access to softness, tracing its presence through protective forms, textiles, and embodied explorations.
